Allan Hilton has worked in student accommodation for over 30 years. He is currently Chief Executive of Affodable Accommodation 4 students Association ltd – AA4S (previously Cass and Claredale) which is a leading charitable student housing provider. The rents offered in the halls accommodation are some of the lowest in London and have been so for the last 35 years. The public benefit of AA4S is to deliver affordable accommodation to allow students to be able to study in London. Allan sits on the board of the ANUK code and its tribunal panel. He also advises the Mayor of London on planning of student accommodation in London, through its Academic Forum. He is a founding member of LASAN – London’s affordable Student Accommodation Network He has been a vocal proponent of affordability, pastoral care and creating communities within student accommodation for many years. His community work involves coaching children at football and is a trustee of Hackney Parochial Charity, which helps people in poverty in Hackney.
