Melissa Browne is Acting Director of Campus Services at the University of Kent, Chair of CUBO (College and University Business Officers) and Chair of Living Black at University Commission. A recognised leader within the higher education sector, she has over 20 years' experience delivering strategic and operational leadership across student accommodation, estates, hospitality, security and commercial services. Melissa has successfully led large-scale transformation programmes, organisational change and service improvement initiatives, enhancing the student experience whilst meeting commercial objectives and delivering sustainable financial performance. She is a passionate advocate for inclusive leadership and believes that equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging should underpin every aspect of campus life, enabling students, colleagues and institutions to flourish.
