Delegate Information

It is the booker's responsibility to ensure they have input the correct information.

Confirmation Delegates Conference/Awards

All delegate bookings will be confirmed by email within 5 working days.  If you do not receive confirmation of your entry/booking, please contact Lucie.Abberley@metropolis.co.uk

The confirmation email will include a receipt of your payment or a copy of your invoice.

Payment

Bookings may be paid by credit card at the time of booking; otherwise, we will invoice you.  Please note the payment must be received in full before the event. Invoice payments must be received by Metropolis Business Media within 28 days of the invoice date or by close of business 5 working days before the Event, whichever is the earlier. For bookings made within 28 days of the event, a credit card payment will be required. Only payment in sterling will be accepted.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing to the contact at the address below.  If you cancel on or before 20th Nov 2018, we will refund your booking fee in full.  If you cancel after 20th Nov 2018, no refund will be given.

If we cancel the function we will refund all booking fees paid.  We do not, however, accept liability for traveling, accommodation or any other expenses incurred as a result of any cancellation or postponement of the event those lie solely with the delegate.  

Our liability for loss or damage incurred as the result of cancellation or postponement of the event is limited to the amount of your booking fee.

These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Special requirements

Any dietary requirements, access requirements or any other special requests must be made known to the event organiser two weeks prior to the event. If not we cannot confirm that we will be able to accommodate them. Any additional charges incurred for special requests will be passed on to the delegate where reasonable.

Lighting and special effects

It is the table booker’s responsibility to inform guest(s) that special effects, including strobe lighting, may be used on the night.

Alterations

It may be necessary for reasons beyond our control to alter the venue or the date of the event. We will give you as much notice as we can and your booking will be transferred to the new venue or date.

Metropolis Group respects the privacy of every person for whom we have personal data. We comply with data protection legislation such as the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulation which regulates the processing of data and ensures that your data is processed fairly and lawfully, is kept secure and only that data necessary for any processing is kept. Information about how we may share your data

This event is being sponsored. The current event sponsors are listed here. We make available your name, job title and company you work for to our sponsors. This is in our and our sponsors' legitimate business interests: it allows us to attract the most appropriate sponsors for the events and to facilitate business-to-business communication between our sponsors and our registrants during and after our events. Our sponsors may contact you about their products and services. We will also list your name and company you work for in the guide given to all attendees during the event.
