David has a long track record in higher education starting life in the British Council in the 1980’s before stints managing student accommodation at Regents, Goldsmiths, SOAS, UCLan and latterly as Director of Residential Services at LSE where he oversaw their major residences expansion via off balance sheet solutions. David joined iQ in 2008, working initially in a business development capacity, before taking over responsibility for operations. He is currently the commercial director with primary responsibility for university engagement. He is a founding member and the current chair of the British Property Federation’s Student Accommodation Committee.
