John is a highly experienced real estate operations professional. He joined Grainger plc, the UK’s largest listed residential landlord, as Chief Operating Officer in 2017. John has significant experience in operations across a number of real estate asset classes including serviced offices, student accommodation and the private rented sector. Having started his career in facilities management, John became Chief Operating Officer (COO) of MWB Business Exchange, a leading provider of serviced offices across Europe, and he was a key member of the team that developed a network of 50 serviced offices across Europe. Immediately prior to Grainger, John was COO and director of Liberty Living, a leading provider of purpose built student accommodation, and led the growth of Liberty Living’s platform to 26,000 beds over a 10 year period.
