Overseeing the voluntary landlord accreditation scheme for Manchester and Salford University, Cooper works closely with the City Council, the universities, students and landlords to ensure provision of safe, quality student accommodation in the private sector. He has established and leads the UK Town and Gown Association to encourage community cohesion in UK cities.
