During a 20-year career in education Paddy has served as Commercial Services Director for the University of the Arts and led a £175m capital investment programme for Imperial College London designed to transform the experience of the then 13,000 students at the College through the development of facilities and services including new halls of residence, sport centres and catering outlets. Today amongst other roles he is non-executive director of Essex University Campus Services, chairs the Audit Committee for the ANUK/Unipol Codes of Management and is a Trustee of Cass and Claredale Halls of Residence Association. His 18 month interim with Birmingham ends early 2020.
