Q.Why do you think it’s important for individuals across the sector to come together at Property Week’s Student Accommodation Conference?
Being in the same room with the chance to network, share experiences and talk business in a sectoral specific environment with high calibre attendees andcolleagues is always invaluable – none more so than in the student accommodation space.
Q. What insights are you most excited to share in your session and why?
I’m excited to explore how government policy has helped and hindered the sector in the recent past and what we can expect from our political leaders to drive growth and quality into the sector looking ahead.
Q. If you could describe the student accommodation market over the past year in a short sentence, what would it be?
Compressed international student market belying the continuing UK wide chronic under supply of fit for purpose stock.
Q. What do you hope to see change in the industry over the next year?
International student back in force, planning delays reduced and the new building control regime sign off resolved.
